Presidential Scholarship Criteria (2013-14)




 

2013-2014 Eligibility Requirements Include:
 

1) Students must be graduating June 2013 from a Clinton County High School.

2) Student must attend full time beginning in August 2013 and continue to be full-time each semester.

3) Student must have a cumulative average of 90 or above, in a Regents program of study as of the end of the junior year of high school.

4) Students must complete an application for Admission and complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for federal and state grant aid.

6) Scholarship will be remaining unpaid tuition after financial aid awards have been applied, including tuition-specific scholarships.

7) Scholarship is for TUITION only; students will be responsible for fees and books.

8) Students will still be required to pay the $50 admission deposit, but the $50 will be applied to fees.

9) In order to continue receiving the Scholarship the student must earn a minimum semester GPA of 2.75 in the first semester, and in subsequent semesters the student must have a minimum semester GPA of 3.25.

10) If a recipient falls below the minimum semester GPA s/he will lose the scholarship and cannot regain eligibility based on subsequent grades.

11) Students may receive the scholarship for up to two years of consecutive study. Scholarship applies to the fall and spring semesters only.

12) Students who need to withdraw from CCC because of serious extenuating circumstances may submit an appeal to the Director of Admissions for re-consideration.
