Clinton Women opened their season on the road on Tuesday when they faced Jefferson CC.

Clinton fell 9-1 in the opening game. Sarah Burns for Jefferson had a three run homer in the third. The game was called in 5 innings due to the run rule.

"They are a very good team that hits the ball well," Clinton C.C. head coach Amanda Deyoe said. "I thought we played well, though, for the first two games of the season."
