2007-2008 Student-Athletes Honored

The Clinton Community College Athletic Department hosted their Annual Student-Athlete Awards banquet on Friday, May 2nd at Clinton. Each Student-Athlete received a certification of participation. The following athletes received special honors.

The 2007-08 recipient of the President’s Trophy Award is Daniel Elder, from Elizabethtown, New York. He just completed his second season of Intercollegiate Baseball.  The President’s Trophy Award is presented to the Student-Athlete with the highest QGPA over two seasons of athletic participation.

 

Dan is completing his second year in the CCC nursing program and presently carries a 3.60 QGPA through his first three semesters. He was designated a Scholar-Athlete after his first year of playing with a 3.94 QGPA during the spring 2007 semester.

 

Dan is also a veteran of the United State Navy, serving 4 years prior to his enrollment at Clinton Community College.
