Monday, February 08, 2010
Delhi — Clinton Community College Men's basketball team lost 58-45 to host SUNY Delhi. Jamal Little scored 20 of his game-high 24 points in the second half as the Delhi defeated the Cougars, 58-45. "Defensively, we were playing pretty well in our zone," said Clinton C.C. coach Kevin Daugherty. "But, then Little got hot and hit three three-pointers. "We were down, 37-33, and it was stuck on that score for what seemed to be a long time. We were right there. But, then Little got it going." "Both teams were deliberate and were patient in running their offense," Daugherty said. "The first time we played them about three weeks ago at our place, they won 44-33. So, a low-scoring game was expected." Justin Vice led CCC with 13 points, Stephane Alexander added 10 points and Anthony Hodge chipped in eight. "This was another tough road loss for us," Daugherty said. "We still have three more road games left, including at North Country Community College on Wednesday."
