CCC Women roll to victory

Plattsburgh- Clinton Community College defeated Word Of Life 75-44.

Clinton honored seniors Brittany Godreau, Megan Bechard and Sami Stoughton before the game. Each student was presented a rose from Coach Donna Dixon.

Johni Coryea finished the game with 16 points, seven assists and four steals. Shannon Nutbrown had 15 points, six rebounds and four assists. Godreau added 10 points. Coryea and Nutbrown each scored 12 points in the first half.

"The difference between Sunday (a loss to Delhi) and today was we came ready to play and were aggressive from the start," Clinton Coach Donna Dixon said. "We played very good defense, which generated a lot of easy buckets that we were able to convert today. We were able to put them away early.


Clinton is on the road this weekend to Mohawk Valley CC on Saturday and TC3 on Sunday.
