Monday, February 22, 2010
Troy— The Lady Cougars finnished its season with a 73-52 road loss to Hudson Valley Community College. "They shot extremely well," Clinton coach Donna Dixon said. "And when we took away the outside game, they pounded it inside." Brittany Godreau had 13 points and made five free throws. "Our go-to offense was getting to the line," Dixon said. "When they took that away, we weren't hitting our outside shots." Shannon Nutbrown had nine rebounds, eight points and four assists. Johni Coryea chipped in nine points. "We were in every game this year, and for such a young team, I'm very pleased with that," Dixon said.
