CCC Men lose in the nightcap to Schenectady CC

Schenectady, NY- CCC lost in the nightcap to SCC 15-1.

The Cougars got on the board first with a run in the top of the first inning.

Schenectady C.C. was to much for losing pitcher Cody Weaver and scored six runs in the bottom of the first. In the second inning SCC added nine runs to make for a 15-1 lead.

"They had a couple of seeing-eye hits, but also hit the ball hard," said Neale.

"We again did play good defense on the day, not committing an error in the two games."

Clinton had 6 hits in the game. Steve Burris had two hits.

Clinton (3-3) will host Mohawk Valley Community College on Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m., at Lefty Wilson Field.
