Clinton falls to Herkimer 88-78

Clinton men lost to Herkimer CC 88-78. Clinton was coming off a big win on Saturday against North Country CC 73-59.

This was CCC's first loss since December 6th.Herkimer ended Clinton's 5 game winning streak.

Coach Kevin Daugherty said,"Definitely, playing two games in 24 hours had us a step slow today.We used a lot of energy the day before to win a big rival game with North Country."

Five Clinton players had double digits. Phil Barnes had 19 points and 10 rebounds. Kyle Stark had 18 points and 16 boards. Ryan Earle had 15 points and 8 assists. Mario Lopez had 15 points and Nick Darrah had 11 points.

Herkimer led 39-34 at the half.

Clinton (10-8) will host Albany Pharmacy on Wednesday at 7PM.
