Business Administration A.A.S.

Description:

The business career program in business administration has been developed for students contemplating careers in the expanding field of marketing, sales, retailing, advertising, personnel, office manage ment and other related fields. The curriculum provides specialized training in management, as well as a comprehensive general education.


Program Mission:

The mission of the Business Administration program is to provide students with the preparation needed to obtain positions as entry-level business personnel.


Program Goals:

The program will:

  •  prepare students to apply the legal basis of business enterprises and the quantitative basis for measuring business functions.
  • prepare students to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • prepare students to demonstrate proficiency in using computer software.
  • prepare students to apply basic business management skills.
  • prepare students to display workplace readiness skills.
  • prepare students for employment and/or transfer to a four-year program.
