David Graham to Present at 150th Anniversary of Canada

David Graham, Adjunct Professor in the Humanities Department at Clinton, will lead a discussion of Canadian history from its founding until the present day during Canada’s 150 Birthday Celebration. The presentation, entitled “The Role of Quebec in Canadian History: The ‘60’s in Canada and Quebec will help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Confederation of Canada and will help understand the importance role of Quebec in that history.

Professor Graham’s presentation is centered on the concept that beginning in 1666, important events have taken place about every 100 years that played a role in the formation of the Canadian nation. Those same events also influenced how the land once known as New France became the province of Quebec.
