CCC Athletics Receives NJCAA Sportsmanship Award

The Clinton Community College Athletic Department has been named the recipient of the National Junior College Athletic Association Region III 2016-2017 Sportsmanship Award. This continues the streak of the Athletic Department receiving this recognition every year since the Award's inception which is a remarkable accomplishment. The Sportsmanship Award is presented to colleges that "exhibit dedication and honor to the integrity of intercollegiate athletics, and whose student-athletes and staff display outstanding sportsmanship during competition." Athletic Director, Todd Roenbeck, states "this award demonstrates the skills and teaching abilities of Clinton's coaches on the field/court as well as outside of competition and recognizes the high quality of Clinton's student-athletes." The NJCAA is made up of 24 regions; Clinton Community College is a member of Region III, the largest in the country with 24 participating schools.
