College hosts Artifact Road Show

Friday, October 31, 2008

Plattsburgh, NY…Thomas Pray, a local expert on artifacts, will be at Clinton Community College in the Stafford Center Auditorium on Monday, November 10, 2008 at noon. Pray will discuss early civilizations in the Champlain Valley, and present examples of the artifacts that were left behind. The Artifact Road Show, arranged by Tom R. Mandeville, Professor of History and Social Science at CCC, is sponsored by the Clinton Community Cultural Affairs Committee.

Did you ever wonder if that is really an arrowhead, musket ball, or stone tool you found while tilling your garden? Bring your artifacts in for identification by Thomas Pray.

The event is open to the public.
