CCC and CV-TEC Have New Articulation Agreement

Plattsburgh, NY_Students graduating from Champlain Valley – Technical Education Center’s Drafting Pre-Engineering Program will now have another career option available to them. Students who qualify and wish to pursue a career in the Industrial Technology field can transfer to Clinton Community College’s Industrial Technology A. A. S. degree program as a result of this new articulation agreement.


CV-TEC students who successfully complete all Drafting Pre-Engineering Program requirements with an overall grade of "Proficient or Higher" shall be awarded eleven (11) college credits in Clinton Community College’s Industrial Technology Program.


"This agreement will give the CV-TEC students an opportunity to finish their technology degree at a record pace thus saving time and money," said Paul Bethka, associate professor of Industrial Technology at CCC. "The agreement will not only give them their degree but expose them to more advanced technology."
