Fall Carnival for New/Returning Students

Plattsburgh, NY . . . . With the semester officially underway, Clinton Community College students will have an opportunity to participate in the annual Fall Carnival. The Fall Carnival, held on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 11:30am to 1:30pm, takes place directly in front of the Moore Academic and Administrative building on the campus oval.

Open to all students and staff, the Fall Carnival is funded by the Student Senate, coordinated by the Student Service’s Counseling and Advising Office, and supported by college clubs and organizations. Campus clubs and organizations set up their information tables around the perimeter of the campus oval, making it easy for students to learn more about a club(s) they may be interested in joining, or a club they may want to start on their own.

“This is a great opportunity to get involved in campus life at CCC!” said Chrisa O’Connell, student support counselor at CCC.

The afternoon includes a picnic lunch, music, other scheduled games and activities, and the opportunity for students to meet and greet fellow students, faculty, and staff.
