CCC Nursing Students Attend Convention

Monday, March 13, 2017

The Nursing Students’ Association of New York State held their 65th Annual Convention in New York City on February 18th. Twenty senior Nursing Students from Clinton Community College attended this one day conference along with Dawn Maille and Jill Kostyk-Tedford.

This year’s conference was titled, “Breaking Down Barriers: The Power of You”. The students were exposed to many positive experiences including: networking, resume review, career building, a new graduate nurse panel, a panel of specialty nurses and an excellent key note speaker who was very motivating and insightful into the power of the profession of nursing, especially in today’s political and healthcare climate. The number of student nurses who attended was a great representation of Clinton Community College and of their commitment to their profession.
