2019 Spring Commencement Ceremony

The annual Spring Commencement will take place at Clinton Community College with 242 students eligible for graduation. 75 students will be graduating summa cum laude, magna cum laude and cum laude; 20 are Phi Theta Kappa honor society members, and four are Clinton County Presidential Scholars.

The Class of 2019 Valedictorian is Caitlin Torres, and Salutatorian is Jessica Rigby.

Caitlin Torres will be graduating with an Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration, and plans to continue her education at SUNY Plattsburgh in the fall in the Bachelor of Science in Accounting program.

Jessica Rigby is graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts: Humanities and Social Science, and will be continuing her education at SUNY Plattsburgh in the fall in the Bachelor of Arts, Fine Arts program with a concentration in Photography. Rigby was the 2019 recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence.

President DiPasquale will share a message to the graduates on behalf of Torres, and Rigby will be the ceremony’s Student Speaker.

Three Clinton faculty/staff members will be presented with Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence, including John Mockry for Excellence in Faculty Service, Lauren Currie for Excellence in Professional Service, and Mary Ann Lake for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching.

The ceremony is open to the public.
