Clinton Community College Celebrates A Birthday!

Clinton Community College will celebrate “Proclamation Day” at 2:00 p.m., on April 12, 2006 in Lobby II of the main academic building. Proclamation Day serves to recognize the College on its 40th birthday and the public is invited to join in the festivities.

President Maurice B. “Moe” Hickey will recognize two gentlemen, Mr. Harold Relation of Chazy and Mr. Robert Bruno of Schuyler Falls, during the program. Both men were county supervisors involved with the founding of Clinton Community College in 1966. Other special guests will include Clinton County Administrator Michael Zurlo, Clinton County Legislators, Sara Rowden and Jackie Walker, and members of the CCC Board of Trustees.

Clinton Community College is a comprehensive residential college of approximately 2300 students known for its academically acclaimed programs in nursing, criminal justice, liberal arts, and technology. A joint admissions program with Plattsburgh State University and special 2+2 transfer agreements are but two options available for Clinton students who wish to pursue a 4-year degree.
