Board of Trustees Member Named

Rolla A. Parker, III and Dr. Maurice B. Hickey, president of CCC

Plattsburgh, New York ….Rolla A. Parker, III, of Champlain, New York was recently appointed to the Clinton Community College Board of Trustees by Governor George E. Pataki. Parker will fill the position previously held by David C. Southwick, through June 30, 2011. Parker is the President and Dealer Operator of Parker Chevrolet-Pontiac, Inc., in Champlain. He currently serves on the New York Auto Dealers Board of Directors, he’s a member of the Plattsburgh North Country Chamber of Commerce, the Wyeth Coordination Council and the Wyeth Transition Committee, and he is on the board for the Town of Champlain Industrial Development Agency. In 2003, under his leadership, Parker Chevrolet-Pontiac, Inc. was named Small Business of the Year for Clinton County. Parker is an active member of the community and in his spare time enjoys fishing and golf.

Governor Pataki also reappointed Vice Chairperson William O. Morgan, for a second term as a member of the CCC Board of Trustees.
