In Patient/Out Patient Medical Billing/Coding (Online Program)

Medical coding and billing is one of the fastest growing professions in the country. CCC has partnered with Career Step to offer an In Patient/Out Patient Medical Coding and Billing online career training program, a course that allows you to study at home, at work, or on the go.

Career Step’s new training program prepares students to work in an inpatient setting or in an outpatient medical facility as a medical coder. The student will be trained to use medical records to accurately code inpatient and outpatient diagnoses and procedures and complete the reimbursement process for these encounters.

Upon completion of the program, students should be prepared to successfully pass the inpatient and/or outpatient certification exams offered by AAPC and AHIMA. These certification exams are not included in the course registration fees or administered by the college.

Career Step’s Program is approved by The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI, formerly AAMT). In addition Career Step partners with top companies that hire medical transcriptionists.
