These courses provide real estate continuing education credit for salespeople, appraisers, and/or assessors. They are also open to the general public for personal enrichment, however only those with real estate licenses will receive continuing education credits for completing the course.
Fair Housing in New York-Online
This course will include two hours of topics pertaining to Human Rights and Fair Housing and one hour of Fair Housing Case Studies. Upon completion of all portions the participant will receive 3 hours of continuing education units in fair housing.

This course will cover finanical crisis, mortgage basics for real estate licensees, mortgage fraud, predatory lending, illegal flipping, and federal protections. Upon completion of all portions the participant will receive 6.5 hours of continuing education units.

Sustainable Housing and Building Green in NY-Online
This course will cover real estate licensees and green building, sustainable building concepts, energy audits, partnerships that work (EPA, DOE, Energy Star, and Building America), LEED, Green Globe and other certifications, key sustainable practices organizations, and the role of appraisers, lenders, and real estate licensees. Upon completion of all portions the participant will receive 6.5 hours of continuing education units.

Real Estate Agent/RE Mortgage Professional-Online
This course will cover representation, disclosure, and compliance, today's mortgage industry players, prequalifying and interviewing the buyer, understanding credit reports and scores, available loan programs, fixed rate vs. adjustable rate mortgages, understanding interest rates and yield spread premiums, mortgage regulations and compliance, property valuation and lender appraisal, title reports and facilitating the closing, the application process from prequalifying to closing, and mortgage professional relationships. Upon completion of all portions the participant will receive 6.5 hours of continuing education units.

Student Computer Requirements
REcampus online courses can run on either Windows-based PCs or Macintosh OS computers with an internet connection, 56K modem or greater, 800 x 600 screen resolution, sufficient memory to run system software and browser, Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or greater, with Java and Cookies to be enabled.

Registration and Payment Information
We offer four ways for you to register and pay for our programs:
1. Call us at 518-562-4143 for MasterCard or Visa payment
2. Mail your payment of check or money order with a completed registration form to the address on the Registration Form.
3. Stop by our office in the Pines Cottage behind the Stafford Science and Technology Building.
4. Bill your company by using the Company Billing Authorization Letter Template on your own company letterhead, have it signed by the person authorizing the bill, and send it with your registration form.
Withdrawals and Refunds
100% refund prior to the first day of class.
0% after the class has begun.
You must contact the Center for Community and Workforce Development at 562-4143 prior to the start of the class for a full refund. If it is before or after hours, please leave a message. No refunds are available once class begins. Refunds will be disbursed by check payable to the individual who is registered unless registration was paid for with a credit card or billed to a company. Refunds, cancellations, or withdrawals for classes that were paid for with a credit card will be reimbursed directly to the credit card that was used for payment. If a company was billed for the tuition fee, the refund will go to the company that paid.
