Educational Philosophy


My educational philosophy is represented in the diagram below:




We will be using a combination of all of the above but notice how effective practicing concepts is to learning.  Practicing what you are learning helps to solidify the concepts.  There are no short cuts when it comes to this.  Your success is important to me but you have to put in the time outside of class to practice the concepts. Doing the work in class is not enough. 

I do not want robots that can do the steps without the understanding of why you are doing what you are doing.  I want you to walk away with the ability to say you know what the different programs can do and you know where you can find the help you need it if you forget how to do a certain task.  This to me is success.
