Features of the Residence Halls

Clinton Community College residence halls offer many popular amenities to enhance your on-campus living experience. A few of the services provided are:

Cable Access
Each residence hall room has a cable outlet. The College features Charter Communications Cable Company in the residence halls.

Telephone Access
Each room is equipped with a telephone line. All you need to do is bring a phone and an answering machine.

Networking
All residence hall rooms are equipped with high-speed Ethernet connections, which allow students to connect their computers to the campus network and also to the Internet. Champlain third floor lounge is equipped with wireless Internet for students wishing to study or relax in the lounge.

Refrigerator Rental
Refrigerators are available for students to rent at the beginning of the academic year. A large fridge (over 6 cubic feet) is $50 for the year while a small (4 cubic feet) is $35 for the year. Students may bring their own fridge, as long as it is 4 cubic feet or smaller. Fridges are available on a first-come, first-served basis and only one fridge is allowed per room.

Lounges
Lounges are equipped with sofas and chairs for formal or informal gathers of students. There are also big screen televisions, pool tables, ping-pong tables, and foosball tables in select lounges.

Laundry Rooms
The laundry rooms are located on the first floors of each building and include coin-operated machines for washing and drying clothes.
Cost per load
Washer - $1.00 per cycle
Dryer - $1.00 per cycle
