About Us
Media Services provides instructional technology and educational multimedia support for teaching and learning. The Media Services department is located within the LeRoy M. Douglas Sr. Library, overlooking historic Lake Champlain. To get to Media Services, go to the library on the second floor of the Main Building, proceed through the main room of the library, past the Lending Services desk, through the brown doors, and Media Services will be on your left.
Media Services houses over 4,500
multimedia resources, including audiobooks, CDs, CD-ROMs, courseware, DVDs, software, public-domain images, video, and sounds, and VHS videocassettes. Media also has
equipment for loan, and a production facility called the
TLC (Teaching and Learning Center).
Services include assistance with the following: selecting and using Media materials,
events, media content creation, smart classrooms, and
presentations.
