Media Policies
A valid Clinton Community College photo
ID card is required to borrow and renew media materials.

All media services are offered in compliance with current copyright law (Title 17 U.S. Code). Unless otherwise licensed, the library will not copy or otherwise reproduce protected media materials. Students, faculty and staff are fully responsible for their compliance with copyright law.

This collection of videotapes and DVDs is funded by the student senate. All library policies apply to the use of the collection.
Equipment: Borrowing Equipment
* Note: 48 hours notice is required to confirm media reserve requests. Media will notify you if we are able to fill your request. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first reserved basis.
* Camera Data: All camera data will be erased upon return. The borrower is responsible for downloading all images to his/her own media.
* Off-campus Use: Off-campus form must be signed if equipment is to be removed from campus.
* Returning Items: Items are to be returned during normal library hours. If not possible, items need to be brought to the Continuing Ed. Office by 8:45 p.m. Library staff will pick up the items from the Continuing Ed. Office the following morning.
* Students Borrowing Equipment: Students need permission from a professor and Media staff.

Printing Quota 
Documents printed on Media's color printer count as two sheets against your print account.
Production Assistance
* Media staff can support student, faculty and staff production of media materials.
* We will not produce your materials for you but will support you through the process.
Purchases: Requesting Media Purchases
* The main purpose of the media collection is to support the College curriculum. Limited funds are available for entertainment or general interest titles.
* Faculty, staff and students may suggest media materials for purchase by the library.
* The item should be in a format supported by Media Services.
Reserves 
Instructors may place personal or library-owned items on reserve for student use. These materials do not circulate outside the library, except to the instructor. They are generally available for use for 2-hour periods.

Visitors: Campus Visitors 
Campus visitors are welcome to use audio, software, and video materials on campus.
