Initial password change information

Network password must be changed before access to online tools is possible. Minimum password length = 6 characters.
Username = First 4 letters of last name + last 4 digits of SSN i.e. test6789) entered in lower case
Initial password = whole SSN without any spaces or dashes, just the 9 numbers from the SSN). The Student file is completely reloaded each fall semester so you will need to reset your password even if you are a continuing student. If your access stops during the semester or between semester, you can use the Password Reset to change your password.

Network storage

All student network accounts have private storage on the H:\ drive
If there isn’t an H: drive on whichever computer you're using, see the poster available in all labs
50 MB storage space
Not accessible from off campus
Problems – lock computer, go to room 339M for assistance. Do not logoff; all work will be lost!

Printing

Student portal

Use only your username and password to enter the Student Portal. You will asked for a PIN. PIN can be changed inside student portal.
PIN is the 3rd to 6th digits of your Social Security Number unless you change it
Available: your current schedule; transcript; advisor and their contact information; PIN reset
