Webmail Help for Students

Attention New Spring 2008 Students: You will need to activate your accounts by using the Password Reset Link located to the left.

Attention Returning Students: You may need to reset your password as well using the Password Reset Link located to the left.

Distant Learning Students: You should be all set to access the Angel site after you have reset your password using the Password Reset Link located to the left.

What is my username and password?

We have a created USERNAME and PASSWORD scheme that uses information you already know: the first four letters of your last name and the last four digits of your social security number is your USERNAMEExample: smit6789.

Each Fall, we completely reload the student file so everyone has to reset their password prior to using the Student Portal, Student Webmail or access the Library Databases.  Your PASSWORD is your Social Security Number without the hyphens.  You will need to select a new password by using the Reset Password link (located on the left side of any of the Networking and Information Services web pages). You do not to be on campus in order to do this.  Feel free to reset your password any time you would like and especially if you feel your password has been compromised.

Remember to always use lower case for your USERNAME and PASSWORD.

If you are using a Windows XP computer:

  1. Enter ‘clinton\’ before your USERNAME (without the quotes). For example, clinton\smit1234.
  2. Enter your PASSWORD.

If you are not using a Windows XP computer:

  1. Enter your USERNAME.
  2. Enter your PASSWORD.
  3. Enter ‘clinton’ without the quotes in DOMAIN.

We encourage students to check their email periodically and to use it to correspond with their Professors.

What is my email address?
A student email address is different from our faculty/staff. Your email address is example@students.clinton.edu. Use your username instead of the word "example".
