A Degree Without the Cost of Textbooks

Students can enroll in the Health Services Management program this fall, and take the entire degree without buying a textbook. The materials and books for all of the program’s courses will be open and free to students. The first semester of courses for new students would consist of the following:

  • English Composition (3 credits)
  • Business Organization and Management (3 credits)
  • Community Medicine and Public Health (3 credits)
  • Public Speaking (3 credits)
  • Intro to Microcomputer Applications (3 credits)
  • Medical Terminology (1 credit)

The schedule of courses on the Clinton Community College webpage lists the textbook cost-free courses with an icon designating the course as using Open Educational Resources.
