Open Presidential Forums Announced


 

Plattsburgh – The Clinton Community College Board of Trustees’ Chair, Nina Coolidge is pleased to announce the Presidential Search Committee is holding open forums for two candidates for the position of President of the college on October 16 and October 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. The open forums will be held in the theater of the Stafford Center for Art, Science and Technology. The search committee is seeking input from faculty/staff and the community in regard to the candidates.


John E. Jablonski, Provost and Vice President for Academic Services at Fulton-Montgomery Community College in Johnstown, New York will be introduced at the open forum on October 16th. Jablonski received his master’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He is President of the SUNY Chief Academic Affairs Officers. Previously, he served as Acting President at Fulton-Montgomery Community College.


Patrick Schmitt, Ph.D. Campus Executive Officer and Dean at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, a two-year transfer college of the University of Wisconsin, will meet with the campus and community on October 21st. Schmitt received his degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in theatre and drama. He was a faculty member for 16 years and has served as President of the Faculty Senate.


The forums are open to the public.
