Celebrating Clinton, Through Service
When discussing an inauguration for President DiPasquale, he asked the college community to instead celebrate the entire college. With his guidance and those of many involved including faculty, staff and students, a Week of Celebration occurred in April.
Each day spotlighted a different area to assist in. One day was dedicated to collecting and stocking the newly organized Eagle’s Nest Food Pantry. Donations were collected throughout the week to begin stocking the shelves with non-perishable food and sundry items. Another day was used to collect gently used clothes for students to have for when they are job searching and interviewing. Several local companies donated to the cause.
The week ended in a celebration of President DiPasquale with a reception honoring his first year as President with all costs being covered by donations from local business and individuals, as well as student groups. With the remaining donations, a new scholarship was created: the President Ray DiPasquale Scholarship to honor our leader.
