Introducing the Lake Champlain Summer Arts Institute

The Lake Champlain Summer Arts Institute at Clinton Community College was launched for the summer of 2018. The Institute is a week-long summer arts program for students aged 13 to 17, and is unique to the region in featuring a variety of visual, literary, and performing arts options for teens. Courses included Anime Drawing, Painting with Acrylics, Photography, Learn to Play the Ukulele, A Capella 101, Become a Triple Threat in Auditions for Musical Productions, “What Rhymes with Pterodactyl?” Poetry Writing, Short Story Writing, and Coming of Age in the 80’s: Five Films by John Hughes.

The program ran from July 23 through 27, and was well received by attending students and families.
