Meet the Coaches


Men's Basketball Coach-Kevin Daugherty

The 2013-2014 season, Kevin Daugherty’s 9th as Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Clinton Community College, was a memorable one. The Cougars set a school record for wins with 24. Clinton finished the season at 24-8 and Coach Daugherty became the winningest coach in program history.



In early February 2014, the team reached its highest national ranking ever, as they were voted number 11 in the country. Also in February, Coach Daugherty reached another milestone, winning the 400th game of his illustrious coaching career. The Cougars would go on to make their deepest run ever in the playoffs, falling just one win short of advancing to the NJCAA National Tournament.



Coach Daugherty has worked hard in developing a winning program that has earned a high level of respect throughout NJCAA Region III and New York State. He has always focused on developing “life skills” for his players by emphasizing fundamentals, teamwork and discipline. He has mentored several players that have successfully moved on after Clinton to compete at the four year level.



Coach Daugherty has 26 years of experience as a Head Coach. Prior to his arrival at Clinton CC he had a very successful 17 year run at Plattsburgh High School where he led his teams to nine division titles and nine Section VII Championships. In 2009, Coach Daugherty was inducted into the Plattsburgh High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

Women's Basketball Coach-Brandon Siskavich

First-year Clinton CC Women’s Basketball Coach Brandon Siskavich graduated from Peru HS in 2005 and went on to SUNY Potsdam and received a degree in History while playing basketball for Sherry Dobbs Jr. He was a 4-year starter for the Bears before he took his playing ability overseas playing professionally in Mexico and Spain in 2011. Subsequently Brandon was offered a 3 month professional coaching position with the Shanxi Brave Dragons Men's Basketball team in the Shanxi Providence in China. As well as coaching in China, Coach Siskavich also has more than 10 years of coaching experience working basketball camps at Peru Central, Potsdam State and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.


He began coaching in 2008-2009 with the middle school at Potsdam Central and in 2011 he coached the Peru Central Boy’s Junior Varsity Team.

Men's Baseball Coach-Tom Neale

Head baseball coach Tom Neale enters his 23rd year at the helm of the Cougar Baseball program. A love for the game of baseball and the reward involved in mentoring student-athletes is the reason Coach Neale enjoys the coaching profession. The Cougars are proud to compete at a high level against the strong competition that exists in NJCAA Region 3 New York State Junior College Baseball.



Coach Neale resides in Plattsburgh, NY with his wife Suzanne and two daughters, Karlie and Lexie. He graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1987. While playing baseball at the College of St. Rose in Albany, NY from 1987 - 1991, Neale earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. He was team captain during his junior and senior seasons and later recognized as a member of the St. Rose Baseball All 20 Year Team.

Coach Neale works as the Education Coordinator at the Ted K. Center located in the Plattsburgh Housing Authority.

Women's Soccer Coach-Gena Rosenbaum

Coach Rosenbaum enters her second season as Clinton’s Women’s Soccer Coach. This year as Head Coach, Gena’s goal is to build up the program to become one of the top teams in the conference and region.

Gena is a native to Plattsburgh playing and coaching soccer over the past 25 years. Gena is a graduate of Plattsburgh’s Seton Catholic High school and went on to graduate from SUNY Plattsburgh. While at SUNY Plattsburgh, Gena was a 4-year starter on the Cardinals soccer team compiling all-time record setting offensive statistics at the University. She was a 2 time Plattsburgh State Athlete of the Year, the SUNYAC 1st- Year Player of the Year, the NYSWACC Offensive Player of the Year, and a SUNYAC Scholar Athlete recipient.


Gena’s coaching experience includes Seton Catholic girl’s varsity soccer team from 2006-2008 where she received honors for Co-Coach of the Year and won a sectional title. Since 2006, Gena has been a coach for the Plattsburgh Football Club coaching multiple age groups and is currently with the U12 girl’s team.


Gena resides in Morrisonville where she owns her own massage therapy business.

Men's Soccer Coach- Mike Eppler



Coach Mike Eppler has been named the Men’s Soccer Coach for Clinton Community College for the 2014/2015 school year. Coach Eppler has worked with various age groups during his 20 years of coaching soccer, including Plattsburgh Youth Soccer and Soccer United. He has also served on the board for Plattsburgh Youth Soccer for the past 13 years has served as the Varsity Boy’s Coach at Seton Catholic High School. Mike has received various awards including; 4 sportsmanship awards, 4 sectional championships, 2 regional championships, and one final four appearance. In 2013 he was recognized as the Division 2 coach of Year.



Coach Eppler graduated from SUNY Canton with a degree in Business Management and from SUNY Plattsburgh with a degree in History/Education.



He currently lives in Morrisonville, NY and works at Sears Appliance. He is the father of two sons.
