NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Trustees of Clinton Community College, Plattsburgh, New York 12901, hereby invites submission of sealed bids to construct the following: LEARNING COMMONS RENOVATION GEORGE MOORE ACADEMIC & ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING AT CLINTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE AES PROJECT NO. 4564 Project Description: Clinton Community College plans to renovate and convert the library into a Learning Commons to promote student collaboration and research. The proposed renovation will include the merger of the current Library space with the Tutoring and Accommodative Services Departments. The renovation area is approximately 19,000 square feet and is located on the second floor of the building (although some work in first floor areas is necessary). The project consists of asbestos abatement, demolition, construction of new interior spaces; including new finishes, doors, ceilings, interior windows, etc. The Work also includes systems and equipment for HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, electrical, telecommunications/data, and other special systems. Owner requires the Project to be substantially complete on or before June 15, 2018. Owner requires final completion on or before July 20, 2018. Contractors are required to examine the project and site conditions. A Pre-Bid conference has been scheduled for Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 10:00 A.M, in Room 228 of the Moore Building. Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of 5% of the Bid. Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 7, 2017. To be considered all bids must be received and deposited in the bid box in Room 228 of the Moore Building prior to the time of opening bids. Bids not received by the indicated time will not be opened. All bids will be publicly opened in Room 228 of the Moore Building, Clinton Community College. Bidding Documents can be electronically downloaded free of charge at www.aesnortheast.com under the Bid Docs link at the top of the webpage. Bidding Documents are also available on Compact Disc (CD) at the Office of the Architect for a $25.00 non-refundable Processing Fee. Printing is also available at our standard rates. Bidding Documents may be examined at the office of the Architect, AES Northeast, 10-12 City Hall Place, Plattsburgh, New York, 12901. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all parts of bids at their sole discretion. A Non-Collusion Certificate must accompany the bid.
