Clinton Community College
Clinton Community College offers flexible programs for adult learners!
Adult Learners
Our adult population has discovered that college can be a valuable enrichment experience regardless of one’s age and is also often the most important factor in creating new career opportunities. The faculty and staff at CCC are aware of the unique needs and interests of adult learners, and are enthusiastic in their efforts to meet these needs and interests. The experiences, views and unique perspective of older students positively affect the classroom atmosphere and enhance the college learning experience for everyone. We don’t just want more adult students at Clinton Community College; we want to make a difference in people’s lives. It is for this reason that we offer these opportunities for adults.

Online Learning
Online learning provides study online in two different formats. Asynchronous courses are taught entirely on the web, and students can take the course without ever coming to campus. A hybrid course is taught almost completely online but requires three to six on-campus meetings per semester. The course content in either format is identical to the on-campus courses. Some good reasons to take a course on the Web:

Life Experience Credit
Earn college credit for prior learning experience. CCC recognizes that college learning can be acquired outside the traditional classroom setting. Students can obtain college credit based on knowledge acquired through their prior learning (work/life) by four methods: Direct Conversion, Standardized CLEP Tests, Proficiency Exams or Portfolio Review.
