Basic EMT
This course is designed for individuals who wish to actively ride and work in ambulances, providing care for the sick and injured. Successful completion and passing of the NYS Department of Health written and practical exams at the end of the course will lead to EMT-B certification. It covers all aspects of basic life support care and includes both classroom and practical skills sessions.

It has been estimated that there will be approximately 10 million more jobs than there are people to fill them in the coming years. This two day workshop will start by helping you learn the basics of leveling cakes, butter cream frostings, fillings, roses, and piping. On the second day you will go where bakeries won’t venture. Hand decorated drawings on cakes are easy, even for people who can’t draw straight lines. Trust me! We’ll create basket weave and students will bring home their finished creations. Students will need to pay the instructor $10 for supplies at the workshop in addition to the registration fee and purchase the “Wilton Course I Beginner Kit”, which can be found at Michael’s Arts and Crafts store. The kit includes: 7 assorted decorating tips, 3 decorating bags, 2 standard couplers, flower nail number 7, small straight Comfort Grip spatula, decorating brush, tip brush, and practice board with cake stand.

American Red Cross Babysitter's Training gives 11-15 year olds the skills and confidence they need to become great babysitters. Five Hour Pre-Licensing
The Five Hour Pre-Licensing course is required for those desiring to obtain a New York State driver’s license. Participants will learn to recognize and define driving as a mental, physical, and social task involving the interaction of the operator, the environment, and the vehicle; to identify factors that can impair a driver’s ability and the legal and moral responsibilities of highway users; and to recognize dangerous drivers and driving situations and how to react safely to protect themselves from possible injury or death by using seat belts. Students enrolling in the Five Hour Pre-Licensing Course must have a valid Learner’s Permit and must bring their NYS Learner’s Permit to class. Note: This class is mandated by New York State and each participant must be in class at the exact starting time listed on your receipt. Late arrivals cannot be allowed in class.
