H1N1 Influenza Virus

Clinton Community College is actively engaged in discussion, dialogue and action as it relates to the possibility of a local outbreak of the H1N1 influenza virus.  We are working with our custodial staff to continually disinfect frequently touched surfaces, have provided hand sanitizer in key campus locations, and have established a plan to communicate to students, faculty, staff and community members about campus preparedness related to the H1N1 virus.

CCC is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy academic environment.  Due to increasing concerns over the potential spread of the H1N1 virus, our expectations of students are the following:

If you are sick, do not come to class.  Please email or telephone your instructor to make them aware of your illness and to discuss ways of keeping up with your coursework.  Please stay home until cleared by a doctor or 24 hours after your fever is gone.  If you have questions on whether your class is cancelled, please check the homepage of this website.

Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly.  Cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough.  Use hand sanitizers regularly. Practice social distancing.

During the influenza season, CCC is committed to maintaining high quality academic standards and to continue to offer our complete course selection.
