Emergency management is a critical and expanding field; climate change has increased the extent and frequency of natural disasters, and terrorism is a growing threat.

Medical Coding & Billing
 
Medical coding and billing professionals translate medical records into standardized codes used to bill patients and third-party payers such as insurance companies and Medicare. 
 
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC). 390 hrs [estimated] 1-year access.
 
Medical Transcription Editor
The industry is evolving to include two important and distinct roles: Medical transcriptionists  or Medical transcription editors 
 
Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist (RHDS) credential. Designed for entry-level medical transcriptionists; Certified Healthcare Documentation Specialist (CHDS) credential Designed for medical transcriptionists who have two years of experience working in acute care within the industry. 630 hrs [estimated] 1-year access.
 
Pharmacy Technician (ASHP/ACPE)
You’ll be a critical part of keeping the pharmacy running smoothly, include assisting and working under the guidance of a pharmacist to fill prescriptions, manage patient records, and submit insurance claims, among other things. 292 hrs [estimated] 1-year access.
 
Medical Assistant
 You'll support doctors, nurses, and other health professionals in medical settings, performing both clinical and administrative tasks., playing a vital role in keeping healthcare facilities running smoothly.  
 
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), and Certified EKG Technician (CET) - 510 hrs [estimated] 1-year access
 
Dental Assistant with Externship
You'll play a key role in keeping a healthcare facility running smoothly, perform general patient care and handle routine administrative responsibilities.
 
National Entry Level Assistant (NELDA) and Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - 265 hrs  (+160 Clinical Hours) [estimated] 1-year access
 
Medical Scribe by AHDPG
Medical scribes generally work behind the scenes— sometimes from the comfort of their own home—listening to dictations and converting them into written documents. 
 
Medical Scribe Certification exam through the American
Healthcare Documentation Professionals Group. 80 hrs [estimated]
 
Patient Care Technician
You’ll complete this program with the knowledge needed to provide basic care and personal assistance to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice environments.
 
Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) from the NHA, NCPCT (Patient Care Technician), from the NCCT, or the AMCA’s Patient Care Technician - 230 hrs [estimated] 1-year access
 
Physical Therapy Aide
You’ll complete this online Physical Therapy Aide program with the knowledge needed to provide excellent patient service and keep a physical therapy office running smoothly.
