Alumni in the Spotlight
Just a few of our many successful alums
CCC Alumnus, Class of 1973, Vice President Champlain National Bank
Clinton Community College's Business Management Degree did it for me. I started my banking career in 1975 and I still love going to my job 29 years later. Thank you CCC! Doug attended CCC from ''70-'73. He recalls during that time only the ground floor and 2nd floor of the main building were used by students. Third, fourth, and fifth floors were off limits. Two of the Young's children are also Clinton graduates.
CCC Alumnus, Class of 1983, Marketing Director Press-Republican
Twenty-five years ago, fresh out of military service, I did not know which direction to take with my life. Clinton Community College gave me the direction I needed. CCC gave me the tools, guidance and the confidence that enabled me to redirect my life and put me on the path of a successful career in marketing/management. George recalled when he attended Clinton, the dining facility, or cafeteria was in the old Hotel Champlain ballroom which is now the Douglas Library.
CCC Alumnus, Class of 1998, Marketing Director Primelink
I made a decision to go back to school after already being in the workforce for eight years. As a non-traditional student the 2+2 program at CCC worked great for me. The availability of evening courses and smaller class sizes at CCC helped me ease back into an academic atmosphere and successfully prepare me for the transition to SUNY Plattsburgh and the completion of my Business Marketing Degree. 1998, the year I graduated and the year the Art, Science and Technology Center was constructed, I had to actually park in a newly constructed lower parking lot and walk up to the Stafford Center. I remember it was pretty muddy for awhile too...I had to wear boots a lot that year
CCC Alumnus, Class of 1998, Community Service Advocate Behavioral Health Services North
I believe that the relationships I developed at Clinton with the instructors, professors and students gave me the courage to go on to Plattsburgh State. I remember the excitement of the construction of the Science and Technology Center and I felt lucky to spend one semester there!
