SUNY Plattsburgh Contacts
The locksmith office installs and maintains locks across our locations on SUNY Plattsburgh's campus and assists faculty and staff with lock issues. Services are available Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Please contact the Maintenance and Operations office at 518-564-5044 (Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) to request they unlock doors (do not submit work order online).
To request a key, follow the Key Access & Authorization Policy at SUNY Plattsburgh. Key requests require your supervisor's approval. Contact locksmith@plattsburgh.edu with questions.
For building/room access assistance after hours, please contact University Police (UP) at 518-564-2022.

Submit a work order using the button below to request preventive maintenance or non-emergency repairs for campus buildings and grounds.
Common requests include:
- Light bulb replacement
- General maintenance (torn carpet, holes in walls, etc.)
- Bulletin board installation
- Items that require a ladder

For emergencies such as major leaks, electrical hazards or plumbing failures:
