Fall 2020 - FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions about Fall 2020 Campus Reopening Plan
Approximately 94% of our classes will be done remotely and/or online with a small number of students on campus at any one time. Remote classes may include online portal, video/audio conferencing, video lectures, email assignments, etc.
Some remote learning will include on-campus instruction for those classes that require a face-to-face teaching experience which includes nursing labs as well as art, technology, and science labs.
For students safety, classrooms will be reduced to 50% capacity with six-feet social distancing for those classes that need to be held on campus. Labs will be reduced to 25%.
See Fall 20 schedule for remote and/or on-campus course listings.
Yes. Staff, faculty, students and visitors to campus are mandated to wear a mask. Should someone come on campus without a mask, one will be provided. Upon entry to campus, each individual will have their temperature checked and a health screening assessment (questionnaire) will be administered.
Thermometers will be used on those who enter the buildings to monitor temperatures. There will be a daily mandatory health screening assessment (questionnaire) for employees, visitors, and students who are on campus for class/labs.
COVID-19 testing is currently offered through the Department of Health as well as through the request of personal physicians.
Since most of our classes will be offered remotely in the Fall 20 semester, it's very likely students will be able to create a schedule that doesn't require them to come to campus.
If you're concerned about online/remote learning, we recommend that you log into Clinton Online and check out the online class sandbox open to all students to get a sense of what learning online might be like and get comfortable with the platform. If you still have concerns, please contact email@example.com to talk to an advisor.

Please note that the plan is subject to change at any time due to new information, guidance and/or direction from the State.
