CCC Hosts Informative Luncheon for Local School Counselors and Agencies

Clinton Community College recently welcomed local high school counselors and agency representatives to an informational luncheon held on campus. This event offered an opportunity for attendees to connect with Clinton’s academic and administrative leaders and to learn about the latest updates on college programs and resources.

School Counselor Luncheon

During the luncheon, Administrator in Charge, Ken Knelly, shared recent campus updates and Clinton’s commitment to student success. Director of Nursing and Allied Health, Tina Evens, provided insights into Clinton’s nursing program, a field of high demand and opportunity. Early College Pathways Coordinator, Maggie Courson, highlighted the college’s CAP (College Advancement Program) courses, which allow high school students to earn college credits.

Vice President for Academic Affairs, Carey Goyette, outlined Clinton’s range of academic and workforce programs, emphasizing the college’s commitment to preparing students for dynamic careers. Michelle Drollette, Director of Financial Aid, reviewed financial aid opportunities, and Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Steve Frederick, discussed scholarships available through the Clinton Community College Foundation.

This collaborative luncheon offered valuable information to counselors and agency representatives to assist them in guiding students considering Clinton Community College as they begin their college search.
