Clinton Community College Hosts Malone Middle School 8th Graders
Clinton Community College hosted a group of eighth-grade students from Malone Middle School this week. This visit is part of Clinton’s efforts to inspire local students and show them the opportunities that await them after high school.
The students toured Clinton facilities while on campus, including the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing (IAM) and the Nursing Lab. The tours gave students a firsthand look at the programs and careers that could be in their future if they choose Clinton as their college destination. From learning about cutting-edge technology to getting a feel for the world of healthcare, the students left with new insights into their educational paths.
"We love welcoming future students to our campus," said Ken Knelly, Clinton Community College’s Administrator in Charge. "It’s never too early to start thinking about the future, and we want to show them community college is a great option. We’re here to support them every step of the way."
Clinton Community College is dedicated to ensuring potential students, no matter their age, know they have a supportive, high-quality option for higher education in the area. This annual visit is one of the ways Clinton engages with local schools and helps students see the possibilities ahead.
