These relationships help build valuable financial support for the students, faculty, staff,
and campus infrastructure. We are very proud of the return on this great investment.
• The College’s Foundation received its largest in-kind gift ever, a $400,000 large-scale
wind turbine from General Electric. The equipment benefits the growing Wind Energy
and Turbine Technology program, and enhances the newly named “GE Wind Lab.”
• Approximately 25 Trustees, foundation Directors and administrators
from North Country Community College and Clinton participated in
the first ever joint “Culture of Philanthropy” workshop.
• The Clearly Clinton Campaign surpassed the $2 Million mark ,
a major milestone for the $7.5 M capital campaign.
•“Dinner with the Mob,” a major fundraising event for Clearly Clinton was held
at Greystone Mansion in Plattsburgh. With over 300 people in attendance,
this was the largest fundraising event for the Campaign so far.
• SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher attended as the guest of honor at a private
reception for campaign donors and prospective donors. Larry and Judy Jeffords, co-
chairs of the Clearly Clinton Campaign, hosted the event in their lakefront home.
