The College Foundation continues to build strong relationships throughout the community.
These relationships help build valuable financial support for the students, faculty, staff,
and campus infrastructure. We are very proud of the return on this great investment.
• The College’s Foundation received its
largest in-kind gift
ever, a $400,000 large-scale
wind turbine from General Electric. The equipment benefits the growing Wind Energy
and Turbine Technology program, and enhances the newly named “GE Wind Lab.”
• Approximately 25 Trustees, foundation Directors and administrators
from North Country Community College and Clinton participated in
the first ever joint
“Culture of Philanthropy”
workshop.
• The Clearly Clinton Campaign surpassed the
$2 Million mark
,
a major milestone for the $7.5 M capital campaign.
•
• SUNY Chancellor
Nancy Zimpher
attended as the guest of honor at a private
reception for campaign donors and prospective donors. Larry and Judy Jeffords, co-
chairs of the Clearly Clinton Campaign, hosted the event in their lakefront home.
