ANNUAL REPORT 2012-2013
• Plattsburgh Town Council voted in favor
of purchasing the
Cadyville Recreation
Park
from the College and county
sponsor. The sale was also approved
by the Clinton and SUNY Board of
Trustees. Proceeds from the sale will
be used to offset the cost of the Moore
Building heating plant replacement
project that began in summer ’13.
• At Clinton’s budget presentation to the
County Legislature, all of the legislators
spoke in support of the College. Perhaps
the high point of the evening was Legislator
Mark Dame’s closing comment:
•
• Nationally recognized historian
David C. Skaggs
presented at Clinton on the significance of the Battle of Plattsburgh.
• The Hon. Patrick R. McGill, Acting Justice of the Clinton County Supreme Court, presided over a
naturalization
ceremony
at the College. During the ceremony, 16 people from 13 countries became naturalized U.S. citizens.
• Clinton’s Center for Community and Workforce Development hosted a
Fire Services Leadership Conference.
