CCC Set to Host Jefferson Community College in NJCAA Region III Playoffs

Clinton Community College is gearing up for an exhilarating showdown as they host Jefferson Community College in the first round of the NJCAA Region III Playoffs on Tuesday, February 27th at 6pm. This marks a significant milestone for Clinton, being the first home playoff game since 2008 and only the second time in the school's history.

The Clinton Cougars have undergone an impressive transformation since last season, where they finished 9-17 and missed the playoffs. This season, they have displayed remarkable resilience and determination, achieving a historic record of 15-10. This win total is the highest in a decade, showcasing the team's commitment to excellence.

Known for their outstanding defensive skills, the Cougars have earned a spot among the top 25 teams in every defensive category nationwide. This formidable defensive strategy has been a key factor in their success and has positioned them as a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.

This playoff game is a significant accomplishment for Clinton Community College, marking their return to the postseason for the first time since 2019-2020.
