CCC Caregiver Classic 5K Set for April 25 at SUNY Plattsburgh Field House

Runners and walkers are invited to take part in the Clinton Community College Nursing Club Caregiver Classic 5K on Saturday, April 25. The race begins at 8 a.m. in the parking lot outside the SUNY Plattsburgh Field House, 167 Rugar St.

Advance registration, which can be completed online, is $35 and includes a free event T-shirt for participants who register by the early-registration deadline of April 15. For those who do not want a T-shirt, the advance registration fee is $25. Registration also will be available on race day for $40.

The Caregiver Classic 5K has become a tradition for Clinton Community College nursing students. This year marks the first time the race will be held at the SUNY Plattsburgh Field House, following Clinton’s co-location on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus last year.

The 5K course features a two-loop route designed to accommodate runners and walkers of all experience levels. Official timing will be provided for participants interested in competing or tracking a personal record.

Proceeds from the event will support the Clinton Community College Nursing Club, helping fund scholarships, graduation caps and gowns and the senior banquet.

Participants and supporters also may purchase Caregiver Classic 5K merchandise online through April 15.
